Projector Obscura

Projector Obscura is a timebased art collective based in Melbourne, Australia.

History

Projector Obscura was formed in 2007 by a group of students in RMIT University, Melbourne.

They describe themselves as "Born in 2007, Projector Obscura are a group of artists who perform live visual mixing, organise & promote projector-based events as well as instigating temporary street art installations on vacant walls around Melbourne's CBD".[1]

They have been involved in numerous Festivals since their inspection in 2007 including but not restricted to The Gertrude St Projection Festival, The Renaissance Music Festival, The Interventionist Festival, This Is Not Art Festival, The Melbourne International Arts Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival (Digital Fringe).
